About Arthrology Chiropractic

What makes Arthrology Chiropractic different?

Arthrology Chiropractic is a boutique practice that emphasizes evidence-based care, focusing on musculoskeletal health, performance, and longevity. We offer longer appointment times, minimal wait times, and personalized, one-on-one care that goes beyond quick adjustments. Our treatment plans are developed from comprehensive assessments and include hands-on care and corrective exercises.

Who do you typically work with?

We commonly work with active adults, professionals, and athletes who want to move better, stay active, and invest in their long-term health. This includes runners, strength athletes, golfers, CrossFit athletes, and individuals dealing with persistent or recurring musculoskeletal pain.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Shoulder, hip, and knee pain
  • Headaches
  • Sports and overuse injuries
  • Joint stiffness and mobility limitations
  • Chronic pain related to movement or posture

If you’re unsure whether we’re a good fit, a Discovery Visit is available to discuss your concerns.

Your First Visit

What happens during my first appointment?

Your initial visit includes a comprehensive evaluation to understand your symptoms, movement patterns, and goals. This may include:

  • Detailed health and injury history
  • Orthopedic and neurological testing
  • Movement and mobility assessment
  • Treatment on the same visit when appropriate

The goal is to understand why your issue is happening, not just where it hurts.

How long is the first visit?

Initial visits typically last 60–75 minutes, allowing time for a thorough evaluation and treatment without feeling rushed.

Follow-up visits are generally 20–30 minutes, depending on the care plan.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily (athletic or casual wear is acceptable).

Will treatment hurt?

Most treatments are comfortable and well-tolerated. Some patients experience mild soreness afterward, similar to how you might feel after exercise. This typically resolves within 24–48 hours.

Chiropractic Care & Safety

Is chiropractic care safe?

Chiropractic care is a safe, non-invasive approach to musculoskeletal conditions when performed by a licensed professional. All treatments at Arthrology Chiropractic are based on your medical history, examination results, and comfort level.

Do you "crack" or "pop" joints?

Joint cavitation, or the "pop" sound, may occur during some treatments, but it is not necessary for effective care. Techniques are selected based on what is suitable for your condition and preferences.

How many visits will I need?

Patient improvement depends on individual conditions, goals, and responses to care. Some may see quick results, while others require a long-term structured plan. We will openly discuss your expectations so you can make informed decisions.

Payment, Insurance & Medicare

Do you accept insurance?

Arthrology Chiropractic operates as a cash-based practice and does not bill insurance directly. This approach enables us to spend more time with patients and provide higher-quality, individualized care.

Can I use my insurance for reimbursement?

Yes. We can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Do you accept Medicare?

At this time, Arthrology Chiropractic does not treat Medicare patients due to current Medicare regulations and administrative requirements.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.

Do you offer packages or memberships?

Yes. We offer treatment packages and membership options for patients seeking ongoing care or performance-focused treatment. These options can be discussed during your visit.
